Our daughter Silvana (Silvie) was born with life-threatening complications and given a 10% chance of survival. While she was fighting for her life in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) I made a promise...
"If Silvie survives, I will find a way to pay it forward."
Silvie spent December, 2015 and January, 2016 in the NICU, the holidays we're not merry or bright.
Happily she graduated the NICU on January 31, 2016!
To keep my promise to pay it forward if she survived, I created Silvie Bells.
We are a 501c3 NonProfit that gives families of sick and preemie NICU babies Comfort Packages.
Each package contains an Owlet Pulse-Oximetry Monitor, Welcome Home NICU Baby Sign,
NICU Discharge Checklist, Safe Sleep Checklist and other comfort items.
